The compound of: the Mosque-Cathedral, the river, "La Puerta del Puente" (the Bridge's Door) and the Roman Bridge, conform one of the most magnificent visits of Cordoba, even more so if you make the visit in the late afternoon, at that uncertain hour when the last rays of the sun make every surface shine like gold. This bridge, built in the 1st century b.c., has suffered several reforms along the history. Its main structure dates of the Middle Ages. The most recent reform was in 1876.
